Pickletini, Baltimore Style

I spent all weekend cooking and trying out new recipes, but I also had to work and it was the last weekend in my grad school semester. A cocktail was sorely needed, and a personal favorite of mine is the pickletini. Outside of the recipe, that’s about the extent of this post. It’s been a very long, very short weekend.

  • Vodka or Gin
  • French Dry Vermouth
  • Dill Pickles
  • Dill Pickle Juice
  • Couple of ice cubes

  • Shaker
  • Pick for the pickles

Pour about 2 shots worth of vodka into the mixer. Pour double that amount of dry vermouth into the mixer. Add a liberal amount of pickle juice and the ice cubes. Put top on mixer and shake to desired mix/coldness. Pour into martini glass and add a pickle or two for garnish/to snack on.

Sorry for the lack of measures. You can always taste it to see if it’s too strong/too weak and adjust as you go. That way if you need it to be stronger, you can have at it.
